About Paul

Freediving and Photography
Paul Sundvik's interest in freediving is deeply rooted in his love for the sea and fascination with its hidden worlds. By combining freediving with his passion for photography, he explores unique underwater landscapes and captures moments that will never come again. Freediving, which requires patience, precision, and a special presence, has become both a tool and a source of inspiration for his art. His works reflect this and provide insights into otherwise unseen environments.

Design and Sculpture
In addition to his photographic endeavors, Paul is an acclaimed designer and sculptor. His sculptures, often crafted from crystal glass, exhibit a clear sense of the organic and transparent. Each creation represents a balance between artistic and technical challenges. Paul’s works, including the award-winning artwork "Encapsulate Sound" for the Denniz Pop Awards, currently on display at ABBA the Museum, exemplify his ability to shape materials that capture both light and space. His artworks are timeless, innovative, and carry their own stories, reflecting his passion for continually evolving and experimenting with new forms, materials, and techniques.

Interest in Art
Art has always been a central part of Paul’s life and development. He began his artistic journey at international schools such as St. Michaels College in Vermont, USA, and the Art Center College of Design in Vevey, Switzerland. These studies provided him with a broad perspective and a strong technical foundation. Through his art, Paul strives to create works that evoke emotions and fascinate the viewer.

Inspiration and Vision
Paul Sundvik’s art and design draw inspiration from a passion for the unique and a fascination with the complexity of nature. He is inspired by the opportunity to transform fleeting moments into memorable artworks through his photography, as well as to explore and combine various patterns, colors, shapes, and materials in his designs. By exploring different forms, patterns, and materials, he creates art that is visually striking and engages the viewer's interest.
His vision for the brand is to offer exclusive art and design products that reflect this unique creativity. Each creation is carefully crafted to inspire and spark curiosity. Paul’s goal is to create objects that feel both genuine and timeless, where every detail contributes to an authentic experience and a strong sense of authenticity.
